Bidding Rules & Legal
The Current Crown Holder on the home page is the qabiil with the highest active monthly bid. Anyone can place a bid to back their qabiil — the highest bid wins the spot and is shown to everyone.
The system suggests $1 more than the current top bid. You can't bid the same or less than the current holder.
The Crown is billed once a month. As long as your subscription is active and you have the highest bid, your qabiil keeps the Crown. If a higher bid comes in, the new bidder takes the spot at the start of the next billing cycle.
All bids are final. We do not issue refunds for partial months, lost spots, cancellations, or because someone outbid you. You can cancel anytime to stop future charges — the current month stays paid.
The optional message shown with the Crown must respect every qabiil. No insults, no hate speech, no political attacks, no claims about other clans. We remove anything that breaks this and may revoke the Crown without refund.
Free actions & paid access
- • Guests: 3 total free actions across the entire app (AI chat, Build My Tree, search, qabiil views). After that, you must sign in.
- • Signed-in (free): 3 total free actions across the entire app. After that, a Premium subscription is required to continue.
- • Premium: Unlimited access to AI, Build My Tree, search, and qabiil views.
The 3-action limit is a lifetime free trial, not a daily reset. Premium is billed through our payment provider and can be cancelled anytime from your profile.
Terms of Service
By using Qabiil you agree to use the app respectfully, not to attempt to bypass quotas, payments, or authentication, not to scrape or republish our content, and not to submit hateful, defamatory, or unlawful material. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qabiil is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the app.
Privacy
We store the minimum needed to run the app: your email and display name, your favourites, your AI chat history, and anonymised usage counters for quotas. We do not sell your personal data. Payments are processed by Stripe — we never see or store your card details. You can request deletion of your account and data at any time by emailing us.
Liability
Qabiil is a heritage and lineage app. The Crown spot is a paid badge for community support, not a claim of authority, leadership, or seniority over any clan. We are not liable for any dispute between users about lineage, history, or who deserves the Crown. By placing a bid you agree to these terms.
