We collect only the information needed to provide and improve Qabiil: your email address and display name when you create an account; your saved qabiils, AI chat history, and family trees; anonymised usage data and quota counters; and the qabiils or regions you search for. We do not collect sensitive personal data such as government IDs, precise location, or contacts unless you explicitly provide it.

We use your information to run your account, personalise your experience (such as saved favorites and chat history), enforce free usage quotas, process payments, respond to support requests, and improve the app. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

We share data only with trusted service providers who help us run the app: our authentication and database provider, our AI gateway, and Stripe for payment processing. These providers only access the data they need to perform their services. We may also disclose information if required by law or to protect our rights and users.

Qabiil uses essential cookies and local storage to keep you signed in and remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

All payments are processed securely by Stripe. Qabiil never sees or stores your full card number, bank details, or Stripe account credentials. We only store a record of your subscription status and payment history.

We use industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit, access controls, and Row-Level Security on our database. However, no online service can guarantee 100% security. Please keep your password and recovery codes safe.

You can update your profile, delete your saved data, or request deletion of your entire account and associated data at any time by contacting us. You can also export your data on request.
